Breaking the sound barrier is a phenomenon seldom seen. All of these photos were taken of the F/A-18 Hornet breaking the sound barrier. It appears as if the aircraft literally goes through a wall. This phenomenon only happens at the instant an aircraft breaks the sound barrier. |
